Garden Club

Plant Sale

9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.

The Garden Club is hosting their annual plant sale! The Club has been an Estacada institution since 1927. They meet at the Library on the second Thursday of each month from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.

Family Felting

Wednesday, May 15

1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Come make your very own birds nest out of wool. Bring any materials you want to add into the nest! 

For ages 10+. This class  uses sharp needles. Registration is required for this event. 20 spots available. Sign up at the circulation desk. 

Mental Health Matters

Presented by NAMI

5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

May is Mental Health Awareness month! To raise awareness, the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) will present an introduction to mental health and NAMI Clackamas free resources.

This presentation is great for anyone who wants to learn more about mental health, lives with a mental illness, or has a loved one who lives with a mental illness. 

Outdoor Book Club

Tuesday, May 28

9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.

Join us for a 15 minute walk through Timber Park followed by a chat about this month’s book! Meet us at the Estacada Portal, just outside Timber Park. 

This month we will be reading Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer. The Outdoor Book Club reads nonfiction books focused on nature, the outdoors, and similar matters. 

Registration is required for this event.

Zine Scene

6:00 p.m. -  7:00 p.m.

Have you ever wanted to make a book? Are your artistic skills bursting to be let out? Come make a zine!

Zines are DIY, self-published, pamphlets that are part art piece and part book. If you like collage, writing, drawing, or creative crafting then zines are for you!

Feel free to bring collage supplies or use the ones we provide.
