Digging Summer in the Community
It is said that a library is only as strong as the community it serves. This Library is fortunate enough to serve an absolutely outstanding community! This summer we are working with many different parts of our community.

In June, we started our summer Storytimes at Wildwood Park which are always a highlight of our summer programming! We also partnered with the Main Street Conservatory of Dance, Local Artisans of Wisconsin, and Wood County Master Gardeners from our area and the Central Wisconsin Children's Museum and Moonstone & Mystics crystal shop from a bit further away!

And we're not slowing down in July! Our Storytimes in the Park will continue through the end of the month. Plover's Food + Farm Exploration Center will join us on July 8 at 10 AM, Wausau's The Mammoth Hunter will be part of our Tuesdays at the Library programming on July 14, and Wisconsin Rapids' I Heart Art Studios will be part of our Sidewalk Party on July 18 to celebrate the end of the Summer Reading Challenge.

But we also have plenty of local involvement in July as well. On July 9, we are very excited to have our first ever Story Splash! at Vandehey Waters from 12 - 4 PM. We’ve paid admission for the first 250 attendees to come join the fun!

We're partnering again with Local Artisans of Wisconsin for another all ages Community Craft program on July 15 at 6 PM.

July 22 will see the return of the wonderful Marshfield Civic Band to the Library! Join us for an evening of live music performed by this collective of volunteer musicians under the direction of Robert Johanek.

We love having so many opportunities to work with and serve our community this summer!
