As summer draws to a close and programming for the fall begins, look for a few changes in Youth Services Programming. After a fun summer of having story time at Wildwood Park, story time will be back at the library beginning Friday, August 29th. Feedback from families has led us to continue our summer schedule of having one story time on Friday mornings at 10:00 AM in the Adler Room moving forward. So come and join the fun on Friday mornings at 10:00! The Young Adult area on the second floor will now offer passive entertainment options for tweens and teens to enjoy whenever they are at the library. An activity cart with age-appropriate games and crafts will be available in the YA area, and will give Tweens and Teens the opportunity to engage in these activities when they want. A charging station and two computers are also set up in this area specifically for Tween and Teen use. We hope teens will find this area a great place to hang out with friends, complete homework, or enjoy a little time quiet time to themselves. We are always looking for the best ways to serve patrons of all ages and hope everyone enjoys these new changes.
