The Summer Reading Challenge is back! This year's Challenge will run from June 9th through July 19th. Once again, we are offering the Challenge for all ages to encourage everyone to do some summer reading. The theme of Color Our World will be incorporated into activities and programs throughout the six weeks of the challenge. Readers can log their progress using the Beanstack app. If you're not comfortable using the app, we will have paper log forms available. Just bring your log to either of the Information Desks and we will enter your information into Beanstack for you! And, of course, we will have fabulous prizes from a number of local businesses and supporters. We can't wait for you to Color Our World this summer!

Join us at 10 AM at the Wildwood Park outdoor pavilion. In the event of inclement weather, Storytime will be in the Adler Room at the Library.

Chapters in ChalkSaturday, June 14 12 - 4:00 PM The Library has an awful lot of sidewalk space in front of the building. We would love to see it covered with your artwork inspired by your favorite books! Join us from noon to 4 PM and color our world with your creations! Spend as little or as much time on your art as you would like as long as you're wrapped up by 4 PM! This event is free to participate in and open to all ages. Sidewalk chalk will be provided.

Stitches & ConversationSaturday, June 14 9:30 - 11:00 AM, Felker Room Stitches & Conversation is an open crafting group to share needle arts (knitting, crochet, etc) and other crafts, as well as conversation. All ages and skill levels are welcome. The group can help if you are just getting started or are stuck and need help on a project. Bring along your current project and supplies, whatever your craft may be.

EarthwatchWednesday, June 4 1:30 PM (New Time!), Felker Room EarthWatch is a book club that is an open environmental and conservation discussion group for on-topic books. The group meets each month to discuss the book and share ideas. This month we will continue reading the book All We Can Save, pages 228 through 283. If you would like to participate, stop by the Adult Information Desk to ask for a copy of the book, which is free for participants. Earthwatch meets in the Felker Family Genealogy & Local History Room on the second floor. We look forward to seeing you!
