Holiday Performances Bring Cheer to the Library!
Every year the Library is pleased to host a number of holiday performances by a variety of community groups. This year we are blessed to have more performances than ever before!

On November 30, we will have Nutcracker Storytime with Main Street Conservatory of Dance. This is a very popular program every year as members of the Conservatory read the story of the Nutcracker and perform selections from the Nutcracker Ballet.

On December 9, we will have a Holiday Duet featuring two members of the Central Wisconsin Symphony Orchestra performing a selection of holiday pieces.

That same week, on December 11, we will have a visit by the Marshfield High School Madrigal Singers. Traditionally the Library has been a stop on their Sunday tour of the community. We feel very fortunate they were able to squeeze in a stop on their Thursday tour. They're a very in demand group this time of year!

Speaking of touring high school performers, the Marshfield High School Jazz Band will bring a hot performance of cool jazz holiday arrangements on the morning of December 16.

And last, but certainly not least, the afternoon of December 23 will see our annual visit from the Spencer High School Handbell Ensemble.

The Library will have plenty of cheer this holiday season with so many wonderful performances!

Marshfield Memories &
Our Hometown Holidays
Wednesday, December 10
6:30 PM, Felker Room
Facebook Event

Join us for a festive program celebrating Marshfield’s iconic holiday traditions. This special update spotlights the dazzling Christmas decorations that once transformed Central Avenue into the “Great White Way,” welcoming hunters heading north for deer season.
We invite you to come prepared to share your own recollections of Christmases past—whether it’s a cherished family tradition, a favorite storefront display, or memories of Marshfield aglow. Let’s preserve the magic together! Free and open to all.
There's no gardening program in December. But we want to give you a heads up for the January program which will be about winter seed sowing. This program will require a half gallon plastic jug or two-liter clear plastic bottle. So if you're going through a few of these this holiday season, save them for January! Also, save any seeds you may want to learn how to start early. It won't be long until spring is here!
