50's Plus Senior Group

This all-inclusive senior's group will be meeting in the Adel Public Library Community Room for cards, coffee, and connection. Meet new people or spend time with old friends, the goal is to enjoy some social time!

Lego Club: Famous Buildings

Monday, September 2nd @4pm

Let’s build and create with LEGOs!

Join us as we use problem solving and engineering skills to build with LEGOs. We’ll be exploring famous landmarks from around the world!

Legos and snacks will be provided. 12 seat capacity. First come, first served.

Teen Advisory Board

Wednesday, September 3rd @4pm

Students on the Teen Advisory Board (TAB) develop leadership skills and meet monthly to help plan teen programs, sign up for volunteer opportunities, give input regarding the teen area of the library, and suggest teen books to be purchased by the library. Volunteer hours/cord hours may be earned for these meetings. This program is designed for students in 6th - 12th grades.

Thursday, September 4th @4:30pm

Visit and read to a furry friend from the A.R.L. Therapets program! Children under 8 years of age must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.

All About Birds with the Brenton Arboretum 

Friday, September 5th @2pm

Where feathers and friends meet. Join us and Brenton Arboretum for a hands-on program and get the answers to some of your bird-related questions.

This program is for K-5th graders. Children under the age of 8 must be supervised by a caregiver.

Yoga

Every Wednesday @6pm

Free-will donations are accepted for this program. A licensed yoga teacher leads a class to help you relax in the middle of the work week. All skill levels are welcome. Registration is required.
