Crafty Monday:Video Game Fuse Beads

Monday, July 21st @1pm

Join us in the community room to make video game inspired fuse beads. Supplies available while supplies last. Children under the age of 8 must be supervised by a parent or guardian. 

Minecraft Party

Tuesday, July 22nd @2-3pm

We’re bringing the Minecraft universe to real life! Make your own creeper, do some IRL crafting, and more!

Science Center of Iowa: Boom!

Wednesday, July 23rd @1pm

The Science Center of Iowa presents Boom, an exploration of explosion. We'll explore the interactions of pressure, temperature and states of matter to explain why things pop, bang or blow up. Experiment with ultra-cold liquid nitrogen and combustible gases in this spectacular assembly.

Tween: Library E-Sports

Thursday, July 24th @1-3pm

The library is partnering with ADM's E-Sports coach, Chris Hatchitt to bring electronic sports to the library! Each week will feature a different Nintendo Switch sport like Mario Kart, Rocket League, or Super Smash.

Library D&D

Want to learn how to play dungeons and dragons? Join in on the action and adventure as we run a mini-campaign through the world of Dungeons and Dragons. No previous gaming experience required. For patrons in 7th - 12th grades.

Join us in the storytime room for a morning of music, movement, rhythm, instruments, and fun! This program is designed for children 0 - 5 years of age.

My First Storytime

Wednesdays @9:30

Join us for songs, rhymes, bounces, and a story. This program is for children ages 0-36 months and their caregiver. 

Preschool Storytime

Thursdays @9:30

A topical themed story time consisting of books, music, movement, & crafts. This program is designed for ages 3 - 6 years old.

Yoga

Every Wednesday @5:45pm

Free-will donations are accepted for this program. A licensed yoga teacher leads a class to help you relax in the middle of the work week. All skill levels are welcome. Registration is required.
