Due to some unforeseen technical difficulties, you may have just received an email saying it was the August Newsletter. It looked an awful lot like July, so here's the real August Newsletter from the Everett Public Libraries!

We hope you are having a wonderful summer. We have been very busy making some impactful changes. Our online calendar and meeting room request platform will be changing to make it easier to publicize our events both physically and online. This new platform also gives the libraries the availability to make our museum passes requestable online! These new features will look great on our new, beautiful, use-friendly website, which will be launched in the near future. Stay tuned!
I have to thank Sofia Safran, who was a driving force for the website project and this newsletter, and who will be leaving us this month to begin a career as a school librarian.
We wish her well on her future endeavors. If you are interested in applying to work with the libraries, please check the city website for our numerous vacancies!
Warmly,
Kevin Sheehan |

CLUB SPOTLIGHT: PUZZLE CLUB |
|
|
|
Welcome to Puzzle Club!
We'll be meeting every Wednesday for the rest of the summer, and hopefully going into the fall as well. Please feel free to bring your friends and family to our next club meeting to show off your puzzling prowess. Together, we'll have some playful, picture-perfect fun!
Puzzle Tournament, anyone? We are a new club, so we are still trying to get more members to join. However, once we have a few more people we can host a puzzle tournament!
We would compete over who can most quickly compete one of our mini puzzles, and the winner will get a prize! Stay tuned for more details in the future. |
