If you answered yes to any of those questions, give a Fred Talk at the library! Listen to presentations from other Everett community members on their field of expertise. You never know what new piece of knowledge you could walk away with!

You are formally invited to afternoon tea and fun activities at the Parlin Library! We will be having tea times throughout the summer featuring different social activities intended to bridge generations. These events will be enjoyable for all ages, so bring your friends and family! 

Stop by the Parlin children’s room every Monday for a Grab and Go mystery craft. Mystery crafts can be taken home or crafted with a friend or caregiver at our children’s tables. For ages 3-7.

Children ages 2 - 8 will have a hopping good time dancing and moving to the beat with special guest Elijah T. Grasshopper.

Brush up your fluency skills before school starts! Drop by the library for an afternoon of fun board games like Scrabble and Bananagrams, word searches and crossword puzzles. Suggested ages 5-11.

Yudith Perez and her Mixed Media Art Classes are returning to the Parlin Library for the third Summer! Learn and develop your imagination and creativity. Explore different materials and techniques, including oil pastels, recycled objects, acrylics, crayons, markers, collage and so much more.

Join us for our monthly senior social at the Shute Library! Enjoy books, puzzles, crafts, and games with friends in a fun and welcoming environment. This event is open to ages 55-109! Games are generously supplied by the Council of the Aged.

Come hang with us at our Sketch Studio hour - a weekly drop-in art session at the Shute Library! We’ve got sketchbooks (first come, first serve), creative prompts, still life setups, and a room full of fellow sketch artists. Drop in once a week and bring your creativity. For ages 14-109.

Start your day in a mindful way by joining us for Mindful Miles, a relaxing morning walk starting from the Shute Memorial Library to multiple laps around Glendale Park. Walk at your own pace, for as long as you like. Just show up and breathe in the fresh air. Intended for ages 18 and up.

Unleash your inner artist in this creative twist on a not-so-average paint night! This won’t be a step-by-step class and bringing a friend is highly encouraged so you may swap your painting every ten minutes. Build off of your friend’s imagination or from the creative prompts provided. Registration is required. This is recommended for ages 18-109. This program is generously funded by the Friends of the Everett Public Libraries.

Join us at the Shute Memorial Library for a fun and interactive music class where you'll learn to read music and sing! No experience needed—just bring your voice and get ready to have fun! This program is recommended for ages 10-14. Materials for this program have been generously provided by the Friends of the Everett Public Libraries.

Bring your Bestie to the library and create beautiful beaded friendship bracelets together! Registration is required for this event.
