May your August be filled with art and song! There are many ways to do that - just check our online calendar! This is the best way to stay on top of what's going on.


This August, we will be starting a mom's group, led by our Parlin Children's Librarian, called The Nest. It is a time for mothers to talk and share information, ideas, and support in these challenging times. No kids at the meetings please! See more details below.


Also this month, we will have our first FRED Talks, similar to TED Talks, but named after Frederick Parlin, the namesake of one of our libraries. Sign up to give a presentation on a topic that is important to you!

A New Program for Moms!

Take some time off to connect with others who have young children.

Leave the diaper bags and sippy cups at home, this one is just for the moms. Join fellow moms at the library as we discuss the great joys and great challenges of motherhood. Rest and rejuvinate in The Nest. Intended for mothers with children under 12.
