We dispensed with the winter reading challenge and in its stead we offered a year-long 24 in '24 reading challenge. There is still time to complete the challenge and claim

November's big success for the Friends was the very popular Jewelry Sale at the Connolly Center. This day of outreach allowed the Friends to set up a display of some of the items in the Library of Things that were purchased with the generosity of the Everett Foundation of the Aged. Seniors had the opportunity to learn about some of the items the libraries have available to lend them, extending well beyond large print books!
