Leach Library Building Update On the morning of January 27, Leach Library staff discovered a ground-level radiator pipe had burst over the weekend in the teen area, causing extensive flooding. This pipe issue coincides with a facility maintenance issue relating to a persistent, but inconsistent leak near the main vestibule. The library investigated the possible presence of mold growth. Initial tests indicate the presence of mold spores in some locations of the building. Until more data can be acquired to identify potential health risks to library staff and patrons, the library building will be temporarily closed.
