Adventures in Narnia

Enter the wardrobe and travel to Narnia where you will play games and make crafts based on the book series The Chronicles of Narnia.

Kindergarten Readiness
2nd Thursday of each month
1:00 – 2:15 pm or 6:00 – 7:15 pm
 
Age: Children entering kindergarten in fall 2026.
 
Designed to help children make a smooth transition from their preschool experience into the kindergarten classroom. Children will participate in the Pledge of Allegiance, calendar activities, literacy activities, follow-the-directions songs, rotate between literacy and math centers, practice walking in a line, and story time.
 
Register one time for all nine sessions. Please do not register if you are not able to attend all nine sessions. Registration closes October 6 at 6:00 pm.

Put your building skills to the ultimate test…the earthquake test! Our earthquake simulator creates quakes in 5 levels of intensity so you can test different structures to see if they topple or stand strong!

Our Tales for TAILS (Therapy Animals Increase Literacy Skills) Program is an effective and fun way to improve children's reading and communication skills though the assistance of registered pet therapy teams as literacy mentors. The child reads to the pet as the pet quietyl sits or lies close by. The child is encouraged to pet, engae, and connect with the pet. 
 
Please bring several books at your child's reading level that they can read to the dogs.

Does your child love making crafts? Then make time for Craft-A-Palooza! Each child can make two crafts. One craft will follow simple instructions or an example.
