The Exeter Public Library won a grant from Spark of Science @ My Library for Flight Path! This grant allows us the opportunity to educate the community on local birds and to inspire scientific curiosity.
On Saturday, October 10 at 11 AM, join us for some activities! In the Children's Room, glue down paper feathers to showcase how a bird's winter coat works. On the Main Floor, make bird seed ornaments to help prepare our feathered friends for the cold coming our way! Attendees will be given a pre-made ornament to take home to hang up, as well as a to-go craft bag to make more. |

Join us for a Friday night Magic the Gathering meet up at the Y! This class is for those who are new or just learning the game of Magic.
Participants will learn the basic rules of the card game, with the goal that they would be able play on their own by the end. The class will cover the basics of deck building, keywords and win conditions of playing the game. The class will also have elements of math dealing with probability and percentages.
Bring your own cards if you'd like, but it is not necessary as we will provide all the tools needed to play. Snacks will be provided. For players ages 10 and up. Min of 4 registrations required. |
