Consider donating non-perishable food items to support St. Vincent de Paul of Exeter or usable eyeglasses to help Lions Club International.

Exeter Rotary Club is also accepting donations for old hearing aids. Donations will be used to help others at the Rotary Hearing Clinic in the Dominican Republic.

Donate your soda tabs to help the Children's Hospital at Dartmouth.

Due to drought conditions and low water levels, Gov. Kelly Ayotte signed a state-wide proclamation prohibiting kindling of any open fire and smoking in or near woodlands. Click the button below to read the full proclamation and to review exclusions.

World Menopause Day documentary showing on Saturday, October 18 at 10 AM.

Help us “shred” the silence and talk about menopause with a showing of The M Factor, a PBS documentary. Stay after for a discussion of your experience and the movie.

College Doesn't Have to be Scary on Thursday, October 23 at 4 PM.

A panel of college admission counselors will be at the library to break down myths, share insider tips, and answer questions to help make the college application process less intimidating.

Exeter Halloween Parade & Costume Contest on Saturday, October 25.

Get ready for spooky fun and frightfully festive activities at the annual Halloween Parade & Costume Contest in downtown Exeter with Parks & Recreation, local businesses, and the entire community!

Costume Contest at 10:30 AM

Show off your creativity and Halloween spirit! Arrive early to sign up and participate in our costume contest. Prizes will be awarded to winners.

Parade at 11 AM

Following the costume contest, join us for the Halloween Parade through downtown Exeter. Participants of all ages are welcome to walk in the parade.

Downtown Trick-or-Treat from 12:00 to 3:00 PM

After the parade, enjoy trick-or-treating at local businesses throughout downtown. Participating locations will be marked with signage and decorations. Don’t forget your treat bags!

Lisa Russ Spaar Poetry Reading at Phillips Exeter Academy's Phillips Church & Multi-faith Center on Wednesday, November 5 at 7:30 PM.

Phillips Exeter Academy's Lamont Poetry Series opens on Wednesday, November 5 with a reading by Lisa Russ Spaar. Readings begin at 7:30 PM and are followed by a book signing. Readings are free and open to the public. The reading will be held in the Phillips Church and Multi-faith Center.

Window Dressers now measuring for the Exeter Energy Committee Window Inserts Community Build – order by November 30!

The Energy Committee has once again partnered with the non-profit organization Window Dressers to bring low-cost window inserts to the Exeter area in January 2026. This year, eligible towns include Exeter, Brentwood, East Kingston, Kensington, Newfields, and Stratham.

Throughout the fall of 2025, you can sign up to have your windows measured and receive an immediate cost estimate. Please click the button below to learn more.

Children can sign-up for D&D to work together as a team to complete quests, slay monsters, and achieve personal and group goals within the game.

Through gameplay, players develop skills such as mathematics, teamwork, strategy, diplomacy, and multi-tasking.

Groups are open to all experience levels – beginners to experts. There is someone willing to teach at each group.

Quilling 101 (Ages 50+)

Quilling is a no-stress activity where we’ll roll and twist and curl colorful paper strips and combine them to create decorative art. Just bring tweezers and your enthusiasm and you’ll be ready for the fun. All other materials will be provided.

Lamprey Health Care has partnered with St. Vincent de Paul of Exeter to make weekly visits to the Community Assistance Center at 53 Lincoln Street on Fridays from 9 AM - 12 PM. Walk-in registration – no appointment needed!
