Adult Summer Reading

To celebrate the third week of Adult Summer Reading: Color Our World, staff members wore yellow on Thursday, July 24. If you wear green, next week's color, on Thursday, July 30, you'll win a special prize when you visit the library.

The library accepts donations for St. Vincent de Paul of Exeter and Lions Club International

Consider donating non-perishable food items to support St. Vincent de Paul of Exeter or usable eyeglasses to help Lions Club International.

Exeter Rotary Club is also accepting donations for old hearing aids. Donations will be used to help others at the Rotary Hearing Clinic in the Dominican Republic.

Donate your soda tabs to help the Children's Hospital at Dartmouth.

Items can be placed in the boxes on the table next to the Adult Information Desk.

Vendors wanted for the Fall Craft Fair on Saturday, September 13 at 10 AM - 1 PM.

Join us for the Fall Craft fair on Saturday, September 13 from 10 AM - 1 PM. Shop the wares offered by local crafters and artists and be sure to participate in the Friends of the Library raffle for the chance to win special prizes!

Vendors wanted! Tables are free, with a requested donation to the Friends of the Library raffle, and will be assigned on a first-come first-served basis. To register, please fill out the form at the link below. Registration closes on August 1 at 4 PM.

Fall Craft Fair Registration
Garden Planning with Elizabeth Dudley on Thursday, July 21 at 6 PM.

Learn how to use color block cards to design your garden from Elizabeth Dudley, a licensed landscape architect and artist. Registration for this program is required by Tuesday, July 29 at 8 PM. Limited to 15 participants.

Art in the Park has been postponed to Wednesday, August 20 from 11 AM - 1 PM.

Art in the Park is now the 2025 End of Summer Party! It will take place on Wednesday, August 20 from 11 AM - 1 PM. Join us in Founder's Park for tie-dying, face painting, snacks, and more! An item will be provided to tie-dye. Consider bringing a shelf-stable food donation for St. Vincent de Paul of Exeter as well.

Teen Summer Reading 2025

June 16 - August 2

Free and open to all teens 12 - 18. Every time you check out, get two pieces of candy, a sticker or button, and raffle tickets for grand prize giveaways!

We'll be travelling to a different time and place each week, so come check out the special themed events on Tuesdays at 3 PM!

The Children's Room Summer Reading program offers unique summer programming including different weekly club meetings, special event Wednesdays, and movie Mondays!

Reading Logs!

Children of all ages are welcome to participate in our reading log program! Children choose their reading goal each week, and when they reach their goal they earn a prize!

BookFlix!

Children ages 7-12 have a choice to participate with reading logs or with our BookFlix program! Sign-up is required.

Join one of the Children’s Room summer book groups! You will receive a book to read for each session, then come back to watch the movie adaptation of each book!

30th Annual Stuffed Pet Show on Wednesday, August 6 at 10 AM. Join us in the Children's Room with your favorite stuffed animal and enter them in the pet show! See who wins!
Mr. Aaron Music Show on Wednesday, August 13 at 10 AM. Join us in the library's Meeting Room for a multi-instrument performance done by a professional musician!

Groups are open to all experience levels – beginners to experts. There is someone willing to teach at each group.
