Consider donating non-perishable food items to support St. Vincent de Paul of Exeter or usable eyeglasses to help Lions Club International. Exeter Rotary Club is also accepting donations for old hearing aids. Donations will be used to help others at the Rotary Hearing Clinic in the Dominican Republic.

End 68 Hours of Hunger is a public not-for-profit effort to confront the hunger that some school children experience when they aren’t in school. Bins are located at the entrances to the Children's Room and the main floor. If you're hungry, please help yourself!

Join OLLI for a Lunch & Learn with Seacoast Village Project! The Seacoast Village Project is a network of older adults working together to improve their odds of being able to grow older in their own homes and communities by getting connected, getting smart, and helping each other out.

Join the Exeter 250 Celebration Commission at the June 29 Exeter Brass Band Concert for free popsicles and patriotic giveaways. Prior to the concert on Monday, July 6, gather together for a Town photo!
Exeter Brass Band concerts: Monday nights in July at the Bandstand, Downtown Exeter. See this Exeter institution each summer on Monday evenings at the Bandstand, intersection of Front and Water Streets. An Exeter tradition since 1847. |
There will also be a special Tune & Fork Concert with patriotic themes at Swasey Parkway on Tuesday, June 30 at 5 PM. |

View an original Dunlap Broadside of the Declaration of Independence and learn about William Whipple of Portsmouth, who signed the Declaration in 1776 as a Founder.
View an original draft of the United States Constitution and learn about Nicholas Gilman of Exeter, who signed the Constitution in 1787 as a Framer. These rare historic documents will both be on display in the museum at the American Independence Center free of charge!
This event is a partnership between the American Independence Center of Exeter, where Nicholas Gilman lived, and the Moffatt-Ladd House of Portsmouth, where William Whipple lived.

Hosted by the American Independence Center, the race starts and finishes in historic downtown Exeter, the Revolutionary Capital of New Hampshire, on Saturday, July 11. The race route will take you past the iconic Exeter Bandstand, the Old Town Hall, and the site of the Town House Common where the Declaration of Independence was first read to the citizens of New Hampshire.

| Children of all ages are welcome to participate in our reading log program! Children choose their reading goal each week, and when they reach their goal they earn a prize! Reading Logs cannot be checked 30 minutes before or after special events. |

Children ages 7-11 have a choice to participate with reading logs or with our BookFlix program! Sign-up is required. Join one of the Children’s Room summer book groups! You will receive a book to read for each session, then come back to watch the movie adaptation of each book! |
