With so much to explore online, it’s important to keep in mind some basic precautions that everyone can take to safeguard the privacy of their online activities. In this workshop, we’ll learn to manage privacy settings in the Chrome browser app and on your Android smartphone or tablet. We’ll explore Chrome's Incognito mode and look at how to manage app permissions and tracking on an Android device.

There’s no doubt artificial intelligence (AI) is a hot topic, and for good reason! AI technology is rapidly developing and increasingly impacting our lives.
This multi-week series will explain the AI tools that have been part of everyday life for a while and also explore cutting edge applications of the technology.
We’ll look at ways we can use AI tools to help with a variety of tasks from writing emails to creating artistic images. You’ll also learn tips for identifying AI-generated content, best practices for using AI, and how to stay safe.

Want to earn a free Chromebook? Thanks to funding from the TN Dept. of Economic and Community Development and the United Way of Bristol TN/VA, the Jones Center can offer free Chromebooks to registered participants of our Senior Planet’s Chrome Essentials Course.
The course lasts 5 weeks: November 10 through December 15 each Monday and Thursday from 10:00 am - 11:30 am. To receive a Chromebook, you must complete the course.
Meeting on the third Tuesday of each month this group shares in reading and discussing the same book.
This month, the BPL Book Club is excited to host a Christmas Party Potluck on Tuesday, December 9, in the J. Henry Kegley Meeting Room. Join us as we share and discuss our favorite books from 2025!

This five-week class meets every Tuesday from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm, November 18 through December 16.
In this course you will learn to use Canva to digitally create cards, social media posts, and other fun projects with your Chromebook.
