STORYTIMES


Cuddle Babies Lapsit is at the Penacook Library and Activity Center every Monday morning at 9:30am. This storytime experience for our youngest library users and their caregivers introduces songs, simple stories, rhymes, movement, and play. Recommended for ages 0-18 months.

Storytime at the Park starts in June! Find us as a different park each Wednesday at 9:30 this summer (weather permitting). This event includes stories, fingerplays, and songs, all designed to strengthen children's reading or pre-reading skills. Recommended for ages
0-5.

Storytime Stations is at the Heights Branch every Saturday at 9:30am. Enjoy books, crafts, activities, and felt board manipulatives at your own pace with our self-guided stations. Recommended for ages 0-9. No registration is required; please stop by and join the fun!

This Father’s Day, give your Dad a gift you made yourself... a tiny TV to put his phone in! Ariel will teach us how to make these, and you can wrap it up to give. This program is for kids in grades 4-8.

Touch Grass... and Reptiles!

Tuesday, June 23 at 10am

in the CPL Auditorium

Join Tanglewood Hollow for a fun and interactive reptile program! Through songs, stories, and hands-on exploration, children will meet live animals and discover what makes reptiles so unique. It’s an engaging mix of science, curiosity, and fun!

Movie Mania!

Join Miss Meg for a showing of the sci-fi classic E.T. and snacks! This movie is rated PG. For tweens and teens ages 10-17. Snacks will be provided!

Just when you thought it was safe to go back to the library... Join us for a special showing of Jaws with themed snacks. Please note: This film was rated PG before PG-13 was an official rating, but it would be PG-13 by today's standards. This program is for teens and adults.

Blast off to the movies with our monthly Movie Monday! This month, fast forward to seven hundred years in the future, and watch as WALL-E, a small waste-collecting robot, discovers love and purpose when a sleek robot named EVE arrives on Earth. This movie is rated G.

Summer Reading Time!

Summer Reading runs from June 20 to August 15, and there is fun for all ages! Kids can earn a tote bag and patches to decorate - there's a prize for every 5 hours of reading! Teens and tweens can work on our Intergalactic Scavenger Hunt and earn prizes for navigating the stars. Adults are welcome to join in this year's Bookopoly! 


Kids are also invited to meet our new friend from space, Drocnoc! They came to Earth to explore and make friends. Retrace their travels across Concord and take a photo each week - don't worry, we'll tell you where to go on our social media pages or here in the library. Show us your photo each week to get a small prize and a raffle ticket to win something out of this world!
