Summer Reading Challenge (Ages 0–12)

Young readers can pick up a game sheet filled with fun, age-appropriate activities. Complete activities and earn Brachiobucks to spend at the Summer Library Program prize store!

Teen Summer Sweepstakes (Ages 13–18)

Teens can win all summer long! Check out library materials or attend a library program to receive a scratch-off ticket.  Participants may earn one ticket per person, per day from June 15 through August 7.

Reach Out & Read (Ages 6–18)

Turn your reading time into community support! Through Reach Out & Read, participants earn $0.50 for every hour they read, with funds donated to Mount Horeb Neighbors Helping Neighbors. Readers may participate in both the Summer Reading Challenge and Reach Out & Read! Generously sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

Goodies for Grownups (Ages 18+)

This might be the easiest reading program around! Fill out a raffle ticket for every book you read and drop it in the drawing box. That's it! Grab your tickets at the Circulation Desk. We draw for gift cards to local businesses at the end of June, July and August.
