This month we'll be reading Train Dreams by Denis Johnson. At the turn of the 20th century, a day laborer in the American West chronicles his personal losses and the transformation of the landscape through logging and railroad construction.
Copies of our book club selections are available to borrow in our catalog in various formats or at the Library Services Desk approximately one month before each meeting.

Summer Reading for All Ages:
Plant a Seed... Read June 6-August 1, 2026
Readers of all ages are invited to join the challenge and kick off their summer with special swag. Kids and adults who sign up will receive a tote bag (while supplies last) featuring artwork by Pete Oswald, illustrator of Jory John’s beloved picture book The Bad Seed. Teens will get a drawstring backpack designed by graphic novelist Wendy Xu. Each is filled with goodies to help you get started.
