This is book #1 in the Front Desk series, I read the back of the book and it seemed interesting.

 

Mia Tang and her family emigrated from China to the United States. They own and run the Calavista Motel which is only 5 miles away from Disneyland.

 

I liked it. It is easy to read and understand. It is based on a similar story of Kelly Yang's, the author's life.
