Summer Is Around the Corner! Our June newsletter is coming to you earlier than normal so you can start planning your summer activities! This year's theme is "Read, Renew, Repeat!" We kick off our Summer Reading programs with a Foam Party from 1 to 3 PM on Saturday, June 1. Waldo will be visiting us starting June 2. Our program schedule is adjusting so we can provide the best service possible. Due to limited staffing on Sundays, STEM Activities and Lego Days are moving to Monday mornings at 10 AM in rotation with Let's Get Crafty. We will have Special Storytimes with community partners including the fire and police departments on Tuesday mornings at 10 AM. Thursday mornings at 10 AM will be Play Time. We'll rotate between having open craft time, toys, and a dance party. Due to lower staffing on some Fridays, we are switching between Tech Club for Teens and a drop in Sensory Friendly Movie in the afternoons. You can find dates for each program below. Don't forget to download the Beanstack app so you can register as soon as it goes live. Click here for more program details! We are looking for submissions by youth in grades 6 through 12 for the cover of the Junior Friends of the Library's 2024 Coloring Book! We'd love to highlight an original work by a local artist. Guidelines for the contest can be found here. Entries must be submitted by May 31. Please share this information with any artistic teens! Best, Aimee Villet Youth Services Director
