Join us this year for the Skagit County Veterans Day Parade and Flyover on Fairhaven Avenue in Downtown Burlington. Community members and out-of-towners line the streets to honor the bravery and dedication of those who have served and their families.
You can be part of honoring our Veterans by submitting your parade application today! We are accepting parade applications through Tuesday, November 12. |

Schedule of Events
Parade & Flyover 11am - Starts at Walnut St, follows Fairhaven Ave and ends at Skagit St.
Parade Flag Waving - Thanks to the Skagit Search & Rescue, over 1000 mini American Flags will be handed out to parade spectators lining Fairhaven Ave.
Breakfast at American Legion Post 91 8am - 10am - All welcome, donations accepted and Veterans eat FREE. (721 E. Fairhaven Ave)
FREE Cookies and Coffee w/ American Legion Post 91 Military Display 10am - 12pm - Visit Burlington Chamber of Commerce Visiter Center (520 E. Fairhaven Ave)
Lunch at American Legion Post 91 12pm - 2pm - All welcome, donations accepted and Veterans eat FREE. (721 E. Fairhaven Ave) |

We’re excited to announce that our new inclusive playground is almost ready to open! Designed to be accessible and fun for people of all abilities, this playground will be usable after the installation of rubberized tile surfacing. A fully completed project will include new restrooms and permanent fencing. Stay tuned for updates on the ribbon-cutting ceremony, expected in May 2025.
This playground is partially funded by a grant from Washington State Recreation & Conservation Office. |
