Experience Art
| Monday, January 26 6:00 pm -7:00 pm |
| FOR KIDS AGED 6-12
REGISTRATION REQUIRED
Experience art (or process art) engages children in the experience and the process involved in creating, rather than the end result. Children are invited to experiment with provided materials, invent, and create. It honors the child’s individual expression and offers the opportunity to explore without restrictions. During these art sessions, there is no right or wrong way to create. Experience art is meant to be fun and playful. It fosters independence and self-regulation. It encourages creative thinking and learning and helps to build confidence and motor skills.
Kids should come dressed with the potential to get messy! They may or may not be bringing home a finished product; however, there will be an opportunity for parents to take photographs if desired.
This is a fully independent program. A parent must remain in the Children’s Room if a child is under the age of 10. |

| Cold and Flu Season |
|
With cold and flu season upon us, we just wanted to remind everyone about the importance of keeping germs at bay. While we love to share our books, we don't want to share germs! So, if you or your child(ren) aren't feeling well enough to go to school or work, please stay home instead of visiting the library. Thank you for your understanding. Stay healthy and happy reading! |
