Announcements Dear Library Community, For me, as for many, November calls forth feelings of gratitude. There’s much to be thankful for this year and that includes your support of our efforts to provide the programs and services that represent the beauty of Somerville’s diversity in library spaces that are safe and welcoming. In addition to you and our dedicated library staff, I am also grateful to the people who volunteer their time to help our public libraries. Whether they’re assisting with keeping plants healthy and strong, or our local history collection preserved, or helping others learn English or become U.S. citizens, their efforts represent community which is the heart of our libraries.
My deep appreciation to the volunteers who represent three significant supports for our libraries:
Thank you for your support! Warm regards, Cathy Piantigini Director of Libraries
