Hello, and Happy Friday! |
We were starting to think that perhaps we would never be able to say this... Spring is here! If you don't believe us, take a look at the beautiful blossoms here at the library. And while you're at it, perhaps check out a book or two for some outdoors reading?

Can You Guess Who in These Haiku? |
As part of poetry month, we have invited members of our community to write their own Guessing Haiku - a haiku that challenges the reader to guess its subject.
You can read all of the excellent submissions we have received so far on the wall near the Teen Room. In the meantime, can you guess what these two patron-submitted haiku are about? |
Rapid beating wings
Iridescent feathers fly Sipping sweet nectar |
What Is It?
Fresh from snow capped hills
Graceful in a merry dance Clear blue waters flow. |
What Is It?
Were you able to guess the subject of either of those haiku? Perhaps you're even feeling inspired! If you would like to submit your own Guessing Haiku, head over to our blog post via the link below for more information. We would love to see and share what you create!
