Hello, and Happy Friday!

Our Flight Path Program has launched! As a part of this initiative, we have planned bird-related programs, activities, displays, and added birding tools, games and other bird-ish items to our Thingdom!

Join us for Professor Heather Williams' research talk, "The Birdsong of Sparrows" Tuesday, February 24th at 6:00 p.m. Dr. Williams will be discussing sparrows in the Berkshires and their unique song.

The Flight Path program is an initiative of Spark of Science@ My Library, which has the goal of sparking curiosity about science and creating a deeper understanding of how science can improve human health and the health of our planet.

Please Note: Nomination papers for elected offices in the Town of Williamstown are now available in the Town Clerk’s office. The library 's Board of Trustees will have two open seats during this election. If you, or someone you know, is interested in running for these postions, submit your nomination here.

About the documentary:

When lawmakers seek to review a list of books, librarians find themselves on the frontlines of a national battle. Across the U.S., librarians face the impact of uniting against library collection standards that include restrictions on race-related and LGBTQIA+ content. Drawing on historical context, The Librarians explores the broader implications for education and public life.
