Hello, and Happy Friday! |
|
One of the things we are most excited about with our new extended opening hours is the opportunity to welcome new patrons into our library. We didn't expect, however, for a number of those patrons to be monarch caterpillars!
If you look carefully at the plants by the library entrance, you might be lucky enough to see a large number of these caterpillars munching upon some tasty green leaves.
How many can you spot? Let us know! |

If you double-click on an event you are interested in, you will see a number of icons above the event information.
From left to right, you can click to sign up for a reminder 24 hours before an event, click to add the event to your digital calendar, click to print the page, and click to share the page with somebody else.
If you are interested in reserving a library meeting room for your own use, you can also do that through our new calendar! Just click the 'Reserve a Room' link on the navigation bar, and follow the instructions.
As always, if you run into any difficulties or have any questions - please do not hesitate to reach out to a member of staff for help. | |

Seeking Electric Vehicle Owners for Library Event! |
| Do you own an electric vehicle, and are you available on the evening of September 25th?
As part of Climate Prep Week, we are hosting an event here with a speaker or two about incentives to buy, what charging is like and what is generally involved as an owner of an EV.
|
|
|
Afterwards we are hosting a show 'n' tell of electric vehicles in the parking lot. If you are willing to bring your EV here, you could show it off to folks who are curious about EV ownership and answer any questions they might have.
Please contact Kira at the library if you're interested - kwilliams@cwmars.org |

This community-organized event takes place on Thursday, September 12th, at 6:30 p.m. in the library's meeting room. |
