Donate your Fabric to the Library! 👚 |
|
Have old fabric laying around? We're asking for donations of fabric for an upcoming sewing workshop! We are looking for the following kinds of fabric:
- Flannel
- Cotton or Bamboo Valor - Fleece - Nylon - Cotton
- PUL | |

You can drop your fabric off by the Friends Distribution Center next to the blue lockers. There is a carboard box labeled for these donations. If you have any questions about donations, feel free to email Ursula Bare at ursbare@icloud.com. The last date to donate is Friday, August 1st.

Coding for Kids, Tweens, and Teens! 💡

Join Daniel, our Web Development Intern, to learn how to code! Starting Monday, July 7th, we will be providing coding workshops for kids, tweens, and teens until Monday, August 4th.
There are two sessions based on youth age ranges. Children (ages 6-9) coding workshops occur Mondays, 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. Coding workshops for tweens and teens (ages 10+) occur Mondays, 3:00 - 4:30 p.m.

Special Construction Storytime |
|
It's a special construction version of our Pre-K Storytime! We'll be joined by Rachel Heisler from WCMA, to dig into the world of construction.
Across the street from us, cranes, bulldozers, and excavators are busy building the new home of the Williams College Museum of Art (WCMA).
Together we will read some books and hear from a construction worker about what is happening at the site. We hope to see you there! | |

Let's Dance! Tango Lessons at the Library 💃

Tango lessons are back! Join us for a series of tango lessons with local instructors Dave Gorson and Bonnie Ernst. Tango is a type of dance and music originating in Argentina.
This class teaches the essentials of tango, all levels are welcome and you can attend solo or with a partner. If you have your own shoe socks, please bring them!
