Hello, and Happy Friday!

Our new Sensory Sanctuary is now open and we want you to book it!

Doubling as a sensory space and study pod, our new Sensory Sanctuary has devices, equipment and toys to regulate, decompress or expel energy, depending on the user’s needs.

Since each person has different sensory needs, sensory rooms are designed to provide a tailored experience. Hence, our new space is for everyone to enjoy!

Using the link below, book the room today to explore these tools, take a breather, and/or read your most recent book.

An Important Message Regarding the Thingdom!

Did you know our Thingdom (Library of Things) collection is around 700 items?

That's an incredible milestone, and we're thrilled that the community has embraced and enjoyed the collection so enthusiastically.

Lately, however, we've seen an increase in items not being returned, as well as items coming back with missing pieces or damage. Each item in the collection represents not only a financial investment by the library, but also staff time required to purchase, catalog, maintain, inspect, repair, and prepare it for the next borrower.

Please help us keep the collection available for everyone by returning items on time and ensuring all parts are included and in good condition. Taking a little extra care helps others enjoy these items and allows us to continue expanding the collection with new and exciting things to borrow.

Thank you for helping us make the Thingdom a success!

After-Hours Movie at the Milne 🎬

We're having an after-hours showing of "The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert" tonight, Friday, June 12th starting at 6:15 p.m.

Two drag performers and a transgender woman, well known for their lavish costumes and lip-synching, travel across the Australian Outback in their ramshackle bus, "Priscilla," on their way to a gig at a casino. Hijinks ensue!

Free popcorn will be available, we encourage you to bring your own bowl. Rated R; runtime 105 minutes.

Celebrate Juneteenth at the Library!

As the nation gears up to celebrate its 250th anniversary, we are excited to amplify the voices of American citizens whose work(s) have changed the country and region we live in.

Join us for a series of events centered around influential scholar and orator, Frederick Douglass, and other abolitionists that found themselves in Berkshire County and ventured further to take this meaningful work nationally.
