Hello, and Happy Friday!

As winter is now in full swing, some of our outdoor recreation items in our Thingdom are being moved into storage until warmer months arrive in the Berkshires.


These items include: Bucket Golf, Camping Cookware, Electric Pressure Washer, Giant Connect 4, Giant Inflatable Kick & Throw Soccer Dartboard, Giant Sorry Game, Inflatable Movie Screen, Mini Broadcast Spreader, Portable Cooler, and Wooden Cornhole.


If you have any questions regarding these items, please email Angie at azimmermann@cwmars.org.

As it is winter, we have added winter outdoor recreation items to our Thingdom! These items include several different sleds and a toboggan. You can view all our available items by clicking this link.


Please Note: We will be closed Wednesday, December 24th and Thursday, December 25th for the Christmas Holiday. We will reopen Friday, December 26th at 10:00 a.m.

Claiming Williams Book Club

As part of Williams College's Claiming Williams Day, "Transforming Futures Through Dialogue," happening February 5, 2026, we will be hosting a book group Tuesday, January 27th at 4:00 p.m. to discuss morning keynote speaker, Betty Shamieh's novel "Too Soon." 


No need to purchase or put a book on hold as we have been generously given 20 books for patrons to have! 


If you are interested in this book group, please grab your book by Monday, January 5th to give yourself enough time to read it. If you have any questions regarding the group, please email Brianna at bchristie@cwmars.org.

Now Showing: White Christmas (1954) 🎬

WWII vets-turned-entertainers scheme to help a retired general with his strapped New England inn by putting on a big musical show with the help of their army buddies and a singing sister act.

Popcorn will be available! As part of an effort to become more sustainability-focused, we encourage you to bring your own (reasonably sized!) bowl.

Do you still know all the words to "Do You Want To Build A Snowman?" Prove it! 


Join us Friday, December 26th at 2:00 p.m. for the sing-a-long version of  "Frozen" and make some noise! (All the lyrics will be on the screen for you, no memory required.)

Free popcorn will be available; you can bring your own bowl to help us cut down on waste.

Make Your Own 2026 Calendar 🎨

Start the new year with a new calendar! Join us Tuesday, December 30th, 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. for our calendar Crafternoon!


We'll have a full 12 pages for kids to color and decorate (here or at home, or both). Use whatever techniques and supplies suit your vibe. Make it all one theme or all different. You're the boss of your New Year.


This drop-in crafting program is meant for families to enjoy together; plan to spend the time with your kids.

Tweens & Teens Art Drop-In 🎨

It isn't too early to collage wooden coasters for a Valentine gift or create a miniature art gallery by hanging them up on your wall! 


Decoupage is the art of applying a collage of paper onto a surface. We will be working with Mod Podge so dress for mess!


There are two sessions for this program. Both sessions are Friday, January 2nd. The morning session is 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. The afternoon session is 1:30 - 3:30 p.m.
