Hello, and Happy Friday! |
|
Did you know we now have a gazebo in the courtyard behind the library? We're excited to put it to use for outdoor programming, and to offer it as an enjoyable shady space for our patrons!
Thanks to the Friends of the Milne Public Library for making this possible. Speaking of whom, click here to read the Friends' summer newsletter containing their latest updates. |

August Exhibition |
|
This August we are happy to host Ann Kremers' exhibition Land and Sea II at the library!
About her exhibition, Ann says:
Land and Sea II is a show of paintings and drawings that I have had the pleasure of making in the Green Mountains, Berkshires, and Cape Cod. Painting nature is an immersive experience for me, requiring intense focus working outdoors to capture a place at a particular time. I finish my paintings in the studio where the interaction is simply between me and the artwork, creating work that I hope shares my experience of this beautiful part of the world.
