| Join Tamarack Hollow and African Dance & Drum Collective for two workshops featuring dance, drumming and music, tomorrow Saturday, February 14th.
At 12:15 p.m. Tamarack Hollow will lead an intergenerational, interactive and hands-on drumming and singing experience rooted in folkloric West Africa and Caribbean music.
At 1:30 p.m., join Sister Noel for an engaging workshop that invites everyone to explore the rich rhythms, movements, and songs of African and Caribbean traditions. |

Decorate a Birdhouse π¦ | Did you know that February is National Bird-Feeding Month? This is the time of year when it's harder for birds to find food, unfrozen water and safe shelter.
Join us Wednesday, February 18th at 5:00 p.m. to make edible bird houses out of bird food. Instead of decorating gingerbread houses with candy, we'll use bird-safe 'glue' and berries, seeds and other bird-healthy treats to decorate these edible houses.
Sign up as bird house kits are limited! Feel free to bring a friend or family member to work on this project together. |
