Milne Mail: David & Joyce Milne Public Library, Weekly Newsletter
Friday, July 24, 2026

Hello, and Happy Friday!

The David & Joyce Milne Public Library is developing a new strategic plan for the next five years (2027 - 2032), and we want to hear from you!

Our community survey is now open, and we encourage everyone to participate. Your feedback will help guide the library's priorities, services, programs, collections, and spaces for years to come. Whether you use the library every week, visit occasionally, or haven't stopped by in a while, your perspective is valuable.

Please take a few minutes to complete the survey and share your thoughts about the future of the library.

In addition to the survey, we invite community members to participate in one of our upcoming focus groups. While the survey helps us gather broad community feedback, the focus groups provide an opportunity for more in-depth discussion (registration required).

- Thursday, September 3rd at 6:00 p.m.
- Friday, September 4th at 11:00 a.m.
- Saturday, September 5th at 1:00 p.m.
- Tuesday, September 8th at 6:00 p.m.

The survey and focus groups are both important opportunities to help shape the next chapter of the David & Joyce Milne Public Library. Thank you for sharing your ideas and helping us build a library that reflects the needs and aspirations of our community.

Bob Dylan & Johnny Cash at the Library! 🎶

Come on over for a live concert Saturday, July 25th at 1:00 p.m.

Longtime musician/author Matt York performs songs and tells stories about these two musical icons and the important role their friendship played in the trajectory of folk and country music, creating a new kind of music that we now think of as Americana music, which merged two very different audiences.

This program is supported in part by a grant from the Cultural Council of Northern Berkshire.
