Decorate a Mask 🎭

Are you still wondering what to wear for Halloween? Decorate a one-of-kind mask with us Saturday, October 18th and 25th at 12:00 p.m.


We will have good quality white cardboard masks in lots of different designs such as cat and fox shapes, plus glitter markers and gem stickers!   


Contact the Teen Librarian, rcarrera@cwmars.org if you would like to pick up a mask to decorate at home! Pick-up is available after October 15th while supplies last.

Learn More About Williamstown!

The next series of Citizens' Academy sessions starts Wednesday, October 22nd at 5:30 p.m. Chief Ziemba of the Williamstown Police Department and his staff will provide an overview of the many roles they play.  


Attendees can learn more about the responsibilities and duties of civilian dispatchers, the Administrative Assistant, the Police Supervisor (Sergeant), the Accreditation Manager and the Police Chief.  


Residents of Williamstown and anyone else interested in our town government are welcome to attend!

Learn and Enjoy the Outdoors!

Learn about and enjoy the outdoors with Jeff Romano, a lifelong New England resident who has been hiking for five decades, Saturday, October 25th. At 11:00 a.m., Jeff will be giving a presentation about hiking in New England. 


After Jeff's presentation in the library, he will lead a nearby hike at the trailhead of Shepard's Well at 1:00 p.m. Registration is required for the hiking portion.

Navigating Your Cancer Journey

Join Southwestern Vermont Medical Center (SVMC) Thursday, October 23rd at 5:30 p.m. to discus how to navigate a cancer diagnosis, pull together your support teams, access clinical trials and find available resources. 


This presentation is for anyone with a cancer diagnosis or anyone who cares for someone with cancer.
