Hello, and Happy Friday!

Feel like getting crafty? Celebrate birds with this one-of-a-kind fabric craft tomorrow, Saturday, March 21st at 1:00 p.m.

You'll be learning how to use felt to create collage bird portraitures! If you donate your creation to the library, we will add it to a unique community art installation, displayed for all to enjoy.

This event is one of numerous Flight Path programs, an initiative the library is participating in through the Spring.

Now Showing: "Wild Hope: Building for Birds" 🎬

Join us Saturday, March 28th at 11:00 a.m.

for a screening of "Wild Hope: Building for Birds," a 16-minute documentary about the effect of building glass on bird populations and innovative solutions to this problem.

Afterwards, we will do some fun and easy hands-on activities to help keep our feathered friends safe:

- put birds in order based on wing span, speed, and distance they can migrate

- make window decals with soap and glue to discourage birds from hitting windows; can be decorated later!

These activities are great for kids!  Door prizes include window collision tape and a Sibley Backyard Birds matching game!
