Midnight at the Masquerade

Celebrate spooky season at the library as we're hosting a murder mystery night! We'll be serving adult beverages (most likely beer and wine) and hors d'oeuvres!

Attend the Billionaires’ Club Annual Masquerade Ball and help get this soiree back on track by trading clues with your guests, gathering information, and solving the crime before the masked menace gets away! Evening wear, ball gowns, Venetian masks, suits, and tuxes are what to wear to this high class night of masks and murder. Get ready for a glamorous evening of mystery, intrigue, and murder at this masquerade ball murder mystery party!

Feel free to dress up to get into character, though it is not required.

Celebrate Hispanic and Latinx Heritage Month 🎉

Celebrate Hispanic and Latinx Heritage Month with the Milne Public Library and Images Cinema!

Saturday, September 27th starting at 1:00 p.m. we will be screening "In the Heights," a generational answer to West Side Story.

Usnavi is a bodega owner who longs to go back to his native Dominican Republic. In the meantime, he spends his time in a small neighborhood in Washington Heights pining after Vanessa, a beautiful lady working at the beauty salon and looking after Abuela Claudia, the elderly Cuban lady living next door who raised him, among many others. One day, Usnavi's childhood friend Nina comes back from college with a secret.

Learning simple mending techniques will allow the clothes you love to last longer or it might lead you to a love of re-designing clothes you already own into a new look.
