Thanks to funding from the TN Dept. of Economic and Community Development and the United Way of Bristol TN/VA, the Jones Center can offer free Chromebooks to registered participants of our Senior Planet’s Chrome Essentials Course (Ages 60+)
 
You must register in person at the Jones Center and attend the ENTIRE Class series to earn the Chromebook. 


The 5 weeks of classes are 10:30 am - 12:00 pm on Tuesdays & Thursdays starting March 4.

Digital tools and technologies have become very important and even necessary to our everyday lives.


By the end of this 10-week course, you’ll be able to use a variety of resources to make your life easier, from managing everyday tasks to communicating with others. You’ll use the internet to explore your interests and passions, connect with others, and even contact your lawmakers. You’ll also learn best practices for staying safe in the digital world and managing your privacy and security settings in the Chrome browser.
