Think you are not an artist? Come join a fast growing worldwide commmunity of artists, and learn the basics of the relaxing, fun Zentangle method. Started in Massachusets about twenty years ago, the Zentangle Method teaches an easy way to make beautiful designs on a 5”x5” sheet of paper called a tile.
No prior art experience is required. This class will be taught by Certified Zentangle Teacher Barbara Holt, EdD.
The class fee is $8, which covers all necessary materials. Participants must be at least 18 years old. Please note that class size is limited, so registration is required. |

Thanks to funding from the TN Dept. of Economic and Community Development and the United Way of Bristol TN/VA, the Jones Center can offer free Chromebooks to registered participants of our Digital Creativity with Chromebooks Class.
This five-week class meets every Thursday from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm May 7- June 4. In this course you will learn to use Canva to digitally create cards, social media posts, and other fun projects with your Chromebook. Registration is required.

Throughout the class we will explore how Gemini (Google's AI) can be integrated into your projects. The two-weeks of classes are held 2:30 pm - 5:00 pm on Mondays & Thursdays starting May 11. Teen Creative Writing Workshop |

We’ll be wrapping up this 6-session course with two final sessions in May. BPL Teen Space Writer-in-Residence Frances Ya-Chu Cowhig will lead participants through writing exercises and feedback sessions designed to provide an encouraging space for creative risk taking. No experience necessary. All writing genres welcome. Come work on poetry, prose, scripts, D&D scenarios, or any other writing that benefits from feedback.
