It's the holiday season at Dyer Library/Saco Museum and we are sending this special mid-month edition of our newsletter so that you won't miss any of the fun. Read on for information about the Festival of Trees, special book sale promotions, end-of-the-year updates, and holiday celebrations! |

| Last Chance for the Online Auction! |

This year's Festival of Trees includes an online auction with some wonderful, one-of-a-kind items for you to bid on, like a weeklong condo rental in Florida or an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the Library's secret spaces! The auction also includes our Art Tree items - beautiful pieces of art in many mediums, created by talented local artists. Bidding is easy and can be done anywhere from your phone or computer - just create your account at the link below.
The online auction closes at 4:00 PM ET on Sunday, December 15th. It's the last chance to place your bids! Winners will be notified by email. Bid high and bid often - all the money raised supports Dyer Library/Saco Museum! |

Our Festival of Trees raffle has some really exciting prizes this year! From gift cards to local favorites like Rapid Rays and Banded Brewing to tickets to see major league teams like the Celtics and the Bruins and day passes for Salt Pump Climbing and Funtown, there's sure to be something for everyone. Drop your tickets and cross your fingers!
Raffle tickets are 3 for $5 and sold at the museum front desk. Raffle ticket sales close at 4:00 PM on Thursday, December 19th, so don't delay! |

Stop by to sign a card for York County Cares, an organization that supports local refugees and asylum seekers. After each card has a friendly message, they'll deliver them to community members who may need some extra cheer in their new country. |

Nutcracker Dance and Story Time |

Join Ms. Jenn of CMAC, as we dance and learn about the story of The Nutcracker.This is a 30-minute creative movement class that will include dance concepts from one of Ballet's most famous holiday dances! Free for all ages with an accompanying adult. |

Mad Science Holiday Spectacular |

Mad Science is going to share the holiday season with you! You won't believe your eyes as you try to determine if what you're seeing is magic or science. Don't worry, we'll explain it all as we use our indoor fireworks to create a festival of lights and share our "special ice" and no-melt snow shipped straight from the North Pole. |

Holiday Book Sale Promotion

We're making way for new inventory for our year-round book sale! Through the month of December, get a Festival of Trees vinyl sticker with your $10 book sale purchase. If you spend $25, you can choose either a DLSM canvas tote bag or a beautiful Festival of Trees ceramic ornament. It's a lovely way to support your local library and museum and get a little something for yourself or a loved one at the same time! |

The next time you visit DLSM and connect to our wireless internet, you may notice that we have a new network name. We've recently installed an upgraded wifi system that offers better, more reliable coverage throughout our buildings. This is the kind of benefit we are able to offer to our patrons through the support we receive from fundrasiers like the Festival of Trees! |
