It's October and we hope you are in the mood for something spooky! We've got fun scares galore with events for all ages, from Halloween-themed storytimes to a matinee showing of a classic thriller. Our Fall Fundraiser "Spooky Scavenge" is perfect for anyone who loves exploring old buildings, solving puzzles, or has wondered if Dyer Library is home to a ghost or two. It promises to be a hair-raising good time - read on for more information!

Work is already underway on this year's Festival of Trees, which will open at the end of November. There are lots of ways to get involved and volunteer, so please don't be shy! Our volunteer coordinator is Brooke Palmer and she would love to hear from you at bpalmer@dyerlibrarysacomuseum.org.

Spooky Scavenge

Have you ever wondered if Dyer Library was haunted? Dreamed of being stuck in the library after hours? Join us on Friday, October 17th to find out! We are hosting a creepy scavenger hunt from 6:00 - 8:00 PM to test your brains and bravery. Your ticket grants you entrance, pizza, a brew of your choice, and the chance to roam the library by flashlight – if you dare! Too spooky for kids, this event is 21+!

Tickets

If you would prefer to pay by cash or check, please visit the circulation desk

during normal library hours. Thank you!
