Toddler Time- Tuesdays @ 10:30 a.m.- This story time is designed for toddlers ages 18-36 months.  However, younger babies are also always welcome!  We have lots of movement for our wiggly friends as they enjoy stories, rhymes, activities, and songs!  This month, we will enjoy learning about ducks, rabbits, and bears (Oh my!), and celebrating Thanksgiving and how we're thankful for our friends!

 

Preschool Story Time- Wednesdays @ 10:30 a.m.- Come enjoy a story, make a craft, and shake your sillies out!  This month, we will enjoy learning about owls, ducks and rabbits, and bears (Oh my!), and celebrating Thanksgiving and how we're thankful for our friends!

 

Pearl Peanuts K-6 Story Time- Wednesdays @ 4:00 p.m.- This story time is designed for all kids in grades K-6.  Come unwind after school, have a snack, and enjoy a great story, but that's not all!  This month, we will be learning about spiders, thanking soldiers in honor of Veteran's Day, learning about owls and bats (including a fun science project), and celebrating Thanksgiving and Charles Schultz's birthday! 

 

 

Monday, November 6 @ 6:00 p.m.- Ready to get in the spirit of Autumn?  Come join us at the Pearl Library and make some decorative pumpkins out of paper towel rolls!

 

Monday, November 20 @ 6:00 p.m.- With the weather starting to get chilly outside, let's make a cute decorative candle holder out of twigs!  Bring your own jar or glass.

 

Monday, November 27 @ 6:00 p.m.- Join us for movie night at the Pearl Library!  We're showing Everything, Everything (2017, Warner Bros. Studio, PG-13, 96 min.)  Enjoyed the book?  Come see the film with us!

Coloring and Conversation, Thursday, November 2 @ 2:00 p.m.- Who says that coloring is just for kids?  Join our FREE adult coloring group, "Coloring and Conversation," and let your creative spirit flow!  Materials are always provided, but please feel free to bring your own.

 

Jackson Astronomical Association, Thursday, November 2 @ 6:00 p.m.- Anyone interested in astronomy and space science is always welcome to attend the FREE monthly Jackson Astronomical Association meetings.  Come and learn to think outside your world!

 

Dance for a better, healthier YOU!,  Tuesday, November 7 and 21 @ 5:00 p.m.- Join our FREE fitness dance class and discover a healthier, better YOU!  These fun classes combine 30 minutes of salsa and 30 minutes of line dancing.  Have you wanted to learn how to dance?  Now's your chance!  Join us!

 

Mississippi Magnolia Tatters, Tuesday, November 14 @ 1:30 p.m. and Tuesday, November 28 @ 6:00 p.m.- Join us for a unique and beautiful art experience, unlike crochet or knitting.  The MS Magnolia Tatters is a FREE adult tatting group that meets every second and fourth Tuesday at the Pearl Library.  There is no material fee!

 

Chapter 1 Book Club, Tuesday, November 14 @ 6:00 p.m.- This month's title will be Coming of Age in Mississippi by Anne Moody.  The Chapter 1 Book Club is a FREE adult book club that meets every second Tuesday of the month at 6:00 p.m. at the Pearl Library.  

 

Simply Crafts, Thursday, November 16 @ 6:00 p.m.- This FREE adult crafting group meets every third Thursday of the month at 6:00 p.m. at the Pearl Library. Join us and "get crafty!"  All ability levels are welcome.
