Our survey closes November 30, so if you haven’t filled it out, please do! It takes just a couple of minutes and we want to hear from as many people as possible. We will share the results in the next month.
The library will be closed on Thursday, December 7, and Friday, December 8 so that we can have a new furnace installed. Our 30+ year old oil furnace is barely holding together. We will be converting to a high-efficiency propane furnace.
The MHLS catalog will have a new look starting December 6. The new library catalog is designed to be more user friendly and to get you to the materials you want more quickly. We will hold two reading and discussion groups this month, Monday, December 4 & 11, 5:30-6:30 p.m. We are looking at the issues that arise around free speech. The discussion is led by Dr. Jeff Miller and the readings can be found online, or we can print them out for you. We welcome everyone, we are mostly beginners and are learning a lot. The last two meetings will be on the first two Mondays of January.
