We have an exciting program coming up this Saturday, August 8. Annie Mardiney will showcase her wild mountain birds at the Recreation Center at 11 a.m. It’s a thrill to be able to get up close to these big wild birds and get to hear some of their calls and see their wingspans.

 

This is hard for me to write, but I am going to be leaving the library in early September to pursue other opportunities. I have felt so fortunate to serve the people of Rosendale as your library director. We have an outstanding board of trustees, an amazing staff, and a fully engaged friends group. We also have grant funds to help with our building project that have been already awarded, and I am applying for more on my way out the door so that the library will be a better than ever resource for the community. The personnel committee is searching for a new director as well as for high school students who want to work at the library after school and on Saturdays.

 

I look forward to seeing this library continue to grow and thrive!
