Letter from the Director
I am Evelyn Rogers and I am so excited to be the new Library Director for Saugerties Public Library. My professional background is in public libraries. My previous experience as a director was with a smaller library in Sullivan County, so I am ready to accept the challenge of working with a larger community and larger staff.
I have a long history of volunteering with several different types of non profits, such as organizations that deal with serious issues like family violence and hunger, and then fun stuff like farmer's markets and museums. I'm always willing to learn a new experience! Volunteering and being of service to others has given me the opportunity to have many new experiences.
