Snowmass Village Library Honor Book Room

Mondays - Fridays in June | 8:30am - 4:30pm


Come visit the Pitkin County Library's Honor Books Room located at the Snowmass Village Town Hall. Puruse our selection of titles including adult fiction and nonfiction books, as well as Spanish language, young adult, and childrens books. Feel free to borrow any of these items on the honor system and please return them in ether Snowmass Village or at the Pitkin County Library. A computer and printer is also available for accessing digital resources or any printing needs. Learn more.  


Snowmass Village Storytime at the Collective begins for the summer on Thursday, June 26 from 10:30am - 11:00am. Learn more.

Visit us every Sunday in June for Pitkin County Library services at the Redstone Inn. A staff member will be available in the Redstone Inn Book Room to provide regular Library services to our Crystal Valley patrons. Children's Storytime from 10:30-11:00am. Learn more.

Let's Chat In Spanish/¡Conversemos en español!

Tuesdays in June | 1:00pm - 2:00pm


This is a weekly program designed to bring together speakers of all levels to practice conversational Spanish in a relaxed, friendly environment. Whether you're a beginner or more advanced, this program provides an opportunity to enhance your language skills. Led by a native Spanish speaker, the sessions encourage confidence, improve fluency, and foster a sense of connection among participants.


¡Conversemos en español! es un programa semanal diseñado para reunir a hablantes de todos los niveles para practicar español conversacional en un ambiente relajado y amistoso. Tanto si eres principiante como si tienes un nivel más avanzado, este programa te ofrece la oportunidad de mejorar tus habilidades lingüísticas. Dirigidas por una hispanohablante nativa, las sesiones fomentan la confianza, mejoran la fluidez y promueven un sentimiento de conexión entre los participantes.

Summer Reading Kickoff Party

Join us for an exciting afternoon filled with delicious food from the Village Tart, engaging games, and fun activities like face painting. Sign up at the kickoff event and receive a Summer Reading Program booklet. This booklet will help you track your summer reading goals, participate in challenges, and earn prizes.

Crafting at the Library: Fabric Bookmarks

Saturday, June 7 | 3:00pm - 5:00pm


Join us for a rotating monthly craft program on the first Saturday of the month. The activity will be different each month, so stop by, explore, play, and learn new skills!


For the month of June, we will create fabric bookmars using materials provided by the Library on a first come, first served basis.

Join us for an afternoon of fun, competition, and community at our video gaming event! Whether you're a casual player or a seasoned gamer, we’ve got something for everyone. Test your skills on a Nintendo Switch with Switch Sports and Overcooked!, challenge friends in multiplayer matches, or just kick back and enjoy hangout.


Games are for ages 10+ and all skill levels are welcome. No registration required—just drop in and play! Controllers, snacks, and good times provided.

Bookbinding: Perfect Binding with Watercolor Paper

Learn beginner bookbinding skills. No prior experience is necessary. Each program will build on skills learned in previous sessions, but beginners are always welcome.


For the month of June, we will participate in perfect binding with watercolor paper using materials provided by the Library on a first come, first served basis.

Escape Room

Join us for an escape room adventure that captures the spirit of gaming! The escape room will feature a variety of creative game-inspired environments that challenge your wits and teamwork. This program is designed for participants aged 10 and above. Gather your friends, family, or a group of fellow gamers to work together and solve puzzles, crack codes, and unravel mysteries.
