Dunaway Community Meeting Room

This workshop’s purpose is to allow communities to cultivate hope that is honest about current conditions, that is, restorative when everything feels urgent, and that is possible even when we feel hopeless.

Chronicles of Yarnia

Tuesday, January 27

5:00pm - 6:30pm

Hotpick Meeting Room

Gather with fellow makers for a relaxed, drop-in fiber arts meet-up. This is a space for camaraderie, where all skill levels are welcome. Bring your current project—knitting, crochet, needlepoint, felting, cross-stitch, embroidery—and enjoy creating in good company.

Art Supplies Swap

Saturday, January 31

2:00pm - 5:00pm

Dunaway Community Meeting Room

Join us for an Art Supply Swap! This event invites artists and makers to share art supplies in good condition and discover new materials from fellow community members.

All supplies are free to give and take—no selling permitted—and only art supplies are accepted.

Participants who are bringing supplies may arrive early to set up between 2:00pm and 2:30pm. Contributors can choose to arrange their items on a full or half table and may begin swapping during this early setup period. After setup, the swap opens to everyone, including those who did not bring supplies.

At the end of the event, participants who brought supplies are responsible for picking up any remaining items between 4:30 and 5:00 p.m. Any supplies not collected by that time will be donated or discarded. This is a great opportunity to clear out unused materials, find inspiration, and connect with fellow creatives in a welcoming, low-key environment.
