STEAM CLUB September 24 4th Thursday of each month 6:00 – 7:00 pm Grades K – 1 Reach for the Stars! Learn about constellations and create your own constellations using light, cardboard, and creativity. Choose a constellation to recreate, then dim the lights and watch your star pattern shine brightly on the wall! Grades 2 – 5 Kaleidoscope Constellations Explore astronomy and art by creating a kaleidoscope that projects a constellation of your choice. Learn about star patterns, then use the salt-painting technique and sequins to create a textured, sparkling version of your constellation. |

TALES FOR TAILS Grades K – 5th September 21 3rd Monday of each month from 6:00 – 7:00 Our “Tales for T.A.I.L.S.” (Therapy Animals Increase Literacy Skills) Program is an effective and fun way to improve children’s reading and communication skills through the assistance of registered pet therapy teams as literacy mentors. The child reads to the pet as the pet quietly sits or lies close by. The child is encouraged to pet, engage and connect with the pet. Bring several books at your child's reading level that they can read to the dogs. Registration required at least 24 hours prior. Walk-ins will be welcome if space permits. An adult must sign-in walk-ins. |

TWEEN SCENE Grades 4 – 8 September 28 4th Monday of each month 6:00 – 7:00 pm Meet and Greet Guiness Book of World Records Style Do you love having fun, meeting new friends, and taking on exciting challenges? Kick off the school year with an action-packed evening of games as we compete to see if we can break some Guinness World Records! After the competitions, we’ll celebrate with a delicious make-your-own snack mix featuring pretzels, Froot Loops, mini marshmallows, Goldfish, and chocolate chips. STORY TIME 4 years through Kindergarten Mondays 9:30 – 10:15 am Tuesdays 6:00 – 6:45 pm Wednesdays 1:30 – 2:15 pm Story Time is a fun and engaging program designed to help children ages 4 - 6 prepare for or adjust to kindergarten. These sessions include a lively mix of interactive and educational activities that support early literacy, social skills, and fine motor development in a fun entertaining environment.
