READING CHALLENGE

June 1 - August 15 
Register for Beanstack:
2. Click on "Register an Individual or Family." 
3. Answer the question, "Have you previously used Beanstack to participate in a reading challenge?"
4. Answer the question, "Who would you like to register?" If you're registering your whole family we recommend you select "I am registering myself" first.
5. Complete the registration fields until everyone is registered. 
If you've participated in the past:
2. Scroll to "Already Have An Account" and sign-in.
3. Enter your username and password or click the blue link to have it sent to you.
 
Is there an app?
Yes! Go to your device’s app store, search for "Beanstack Tracker," and follow these steps.
1. Search for LIBRARY.
2. Click on our library.
3. Follow the steps to register an individual or family!
PROGRAMS FOR TEENS

Plot Twist: A Meet Up for Teen Writers
Monday, August 3 6-7 PM
Simpson Library - Meeting Room B
 
Join us on the first Monday of each month this summer for a fun, creativity-filled meet up just for teen writers. Through games, prompts, and collaborative activities, participants will explore storytelling, build skills, and share ideas in a relaxed, supportive space. Throughout the summer, writers can develop their favorite pieces with optional prompts and light peer feedback. The program culminates in a teen-created anthology, featuring original work from participants, celebrated with a final showcase.

NOTE: This program occurs after the library closes. Teens are welcome to drop in anytime between 2-4 PM. A staff member will be present to let them in the front door. The library will not be open to the public during this program.

100 BOOKS BEFORE GRADUATION
Students in grades 6-12 are able to sign up for our ongoing program, 100 Books Before Graduation! Your goal is to read 100 books before your high school graduation.
 
You can register for this program on Beanstack or by visiting the circulation desk on the upper level of the library. You can track your reading on your Beanstack account or by using the Beanstack Tracker app. You will receive a prize after every 25 books and a grand prize after finishing the program!
