Traditional Rug Hooking Show and Tell Saturday, Feb 1 11am-noon Still taught and practiced today, traditional rug hooking is a textile art that came to North America in the mid 1800's. Explore this unique art form during a show and tell from artist Faye Swenson. A teacher of her craft and an member of the Edmonton Rug Hooking Guild, Faye has over twenty years of rug hooking experience. Viewings of Faye’s work will be on display at the library on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday until February 1st, unless a program is running in the program room. For families, all ages. Ages 11 & under must be accompanied by an adult. Cost: Free Drop-in. |

Family Story Time Tuesdays, Feb 11, 18 & 25 (No Story Time Feb 4) 11am-noon Wednesdays, Feb 5, 12, 19 & 26 9:00-10am Join us for 30 minutes of books, songs and games followed by 30 minutes of open exploration and play. Teen Night Every 2nd Thursday, Feb 20 only this month 4:00-5:00pm For one hour, we'll transform the program room to a teen only space with music, games and hang out time! Ages 13-17

Teen Volunteer Club Every 2nd Monday, 4-5pm* *Exception: Monday, Feb 3 Special Info and Registration Night 5:00-6:00pm (closed Feb 17 for Family Day) Hang out, help out and get to know the library behind the scenes. Take advantage of training, hour tracking, and other job readiness options. Leave with a cover letter and reference for university, or work. Ages 12-18

Women's Wisdom Circle Thursdays, Feb 6 & 20, 1:00-3:00PM (1st & 3rd Thursday every month) Drop in and join holistic practitioner Dianne Tharp at the library for Women's Wisdom Circle - a safe and welcoming place for senior women to gather and explore, learn, feel and witness what it takes to be an elder woman. Social Knitwork Mondays, except when closed for holidays: 6:00-7:30PM Do you like to knit/crochet or wish to learn? Join us for some social hobby time!
